General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC) was formed in November 1972 for the purpose of superintending, controlling and carrying on the business of general insurance in India.

General Insurance Corporation has announced recruitment of total 73 Officers posts in Scale - I. There are vacancies for people qualified in various profiles. Although vacancies are for Freshers, Relevant experience will be preferred.

Selection Procedure

• Selection will be on the basis of performance in a written test followed by GD and a 
  personal interview of short listed candidates. Written Test marks - 150, GD - 20, Interview - 30.

Application Procedure

• The fee is Nil for SC/ ST/ PH & employees of GIC & GIPSA member companies and Rs. 500for Others. To be paid by a DD in favor of GENERAL INSURANCE CORPORATION OF 
  INDIA , payable at Mumbai.
• Get the DD and Scanned copies of Photo & Signature before applying.
• Fill the online application form by filling correct details along with submission of DD Details and Uploading of Photo & Sign.
• After submitting online application, take a print of acknowledgement slip, put signature and along with the original DD, as applicable, send it to the given address by ORDINARY or SPEED POST ONLY so as to reach by Apr 8, 2013.
• Attested Copies All the Certificates related to Age, Education, Experience must be accompanied with the DD and Application Form Print.
• Mark the Envelope as - "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT MANAGER IN GIC Re".
• Address -
